Start the tour of exhibitionIn the second half of the 20th century, during the period of intensive development of industry in the former Yugoslavia, factory Jugorendgen (part of the Elektronska industrija Niš), was the only one in the Balkans that manufactured X-ray machines and exported them all around the world. After the break-up of Yugoslavia, time of crisis in the 1990s and later transition processes during which numerous industrial companies ceased to operate, which also included Jugorenden, at the start of the new millennium, a group of young experts established company Visaris and began developing and manufacturing a new generation of devices—digital X-ray machines. As was once the case with Jugorendgen, today, Visaris is the only manufacturer of X-ray machines in the region, and they are also present on the global market.
